This is a little patchwork I started to work on this weekend. It is an interesting project for several reasons: each square measures only 1 inch, I have never done piecing that small, but the most important aspect about this project is that it is not going to be for me. I joined the Pretty Little Pouch Swap (my very first swap!) and this is part of what will become the pouch for my partner. I'm quite pleased with the way that is looking. I just hope that my partner likes it. I can't wait to send it to her and share with you more details about the finished pouch.

I hope you have a lovely week,
Martha
It is looking gorgeous! Can't wait to see the finished pouch.
ReplyDeleteLooking very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow! One inch tiny! Your squares look wonderful and the straight line diagonal stitch is my fave, it finishes it off so beautifully. I am looking forward to seeing your finished pouch.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Martha, those tiny squares are a real challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up too.
Looks fantastic, those squares are tiny.
ReplyDeleteWow it looks lovely! Such gorgeous fabrics. Your pouch is going to be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! And so flat and perfect looking :) Nice work!
ReplyDeleteEeeek, only 1 inch. Those colors work well together.
ReplyDelete(I can't believe you have never seen Harry Potter. I just watched it last night)
It's lovely and your tiny squares are so neat!
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe the squares are so small and the picture shows the fabrics used so clearly. It's stunning. I have never seen any Harry Potter films either - relieved to learn there are at least two of us. Popping over from Plum and June :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like what you have made with that fabric line. I just made Hexies using the same fabric.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love this!
