Spring has definitely sprung around here. Everywhere I look the grass is lush green and many plants are in full bloom. Though everyone in the Weekend Doings household has to deal with the pesky seasonal allergies, spring continues to be my favorite season. My dog Mona has been having the hardest time (poor thing she is allergic to so many things), so we have to limit the time she spends outside. Luckily, my allergies are a bit more under control and I can still spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying the warm and sunny weather. Right now, the wisteria vine, one of my favorite plants in the garden is laden with petty blossoms. When standing under the trellises that support the vines there is a soft purple glow from the sun shining through the purple flowers. I just wish that the lovely purple display lasted longer or even all year.

ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos. I've never thought that I have allergies but this year I'm beginning to think I do!!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! It's one of my favourite plants too.
ReplyDeleteI love wisteria vines as well! Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I guess if spring does not want to visit here, then I will have to visit your blog to get my fix! We had quarter sized hail last night and snow expected tomorrow!
ReplyDeletePoor Mona - that must be difficult for your little doggie! GORGEOUS colour in your flowers - the shades of purple are lovely. I can almost smell them...
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks really like spring! :) At our side spring just wake up :) Have a lovely time, Jolana
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The house where I grew up had a spectacular spring wisteria show. Its one of the things I miss in my current Boston home - you don't see much wisteria up here.
