Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend. I had such a busy weekend, but I made some time to work on a couple of projects I've been meaning to finish for a while. But more on that later... let me tell you about the new knitting project I started. For a while I had been admiring the very popular Honey Cowl, and I finally started one. I'm really enjoying working on this project. I have to confess though, it took me a while to understand how to make the stitch. I must to have read the stitch instructions about twenty times trying to figure it out until it finally clicked in my head :) The stitch is lovely I just love how "puffy" it looks and now that I understand how it works it is actually very easy to knit. I'm really looking forward to finishing this one.

ReplyDeleteLovely colour! I have made two honey cowls, one short, one long, and I wear them all the time - they are so warm.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! If you lived nearby, I'd ask you to teach me to knit! :o)
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. I am actually making the same thing right now.
ReplyDeleteYour cowl is looking great! I have the yarn & pattern for their Brick Road cowl....now to finish other projects so I can start it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the stitch and colour looks cosy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Teresa. The yarn is cotton and it is surprisingly very warm and cozy.

ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to New to Me too.
I know I've said it before, but you take such beautiful photos. I'm looking forward to seeing this cowl progress.
ReplyDeleteFab cowl, love the colour and particularly with that shot of lime green in the photo. Had to download the pattern for Flicky! :D
ReplyDeleteThis is BEAUTIFUL!!! I started this last year, and I'm still not finished. Are you a knitter? I am so slow at it, but it's fun. This pattern took me a while to understand too. :) And I have to say, I love your new to me blog look! It's gorgeous! :)
